Phnom Penh governor issues stern warning against curfew violators

Phnom Penh governor Khuong Sreng has warned that anyone caught flouting the government’s curfew due to be enforced tonight must be placed into a 14-day quarantine.

Sreng this morning ordered all police and military police in the 14 districts to carry out an 8 pm to 5 am curfew to be imposed today amid the February 20 community outbreak.

In a voice message sent to the Phnom Penh Police Chief and the Military Police  Commander, Sreng said that authorities must impound vehicles belonging to curfew violators while the owners must undergo the mandatory 14-day quarantine at their home.
