Cambodia’s exports to Japan down in January

Cambodia’s exports to Japan declined in January against year-on-year figures, according to data released by the Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO).

Cambodia exported $138 million in goods to Japan in January, down 7.8 percent compared with January 2020 figures. The Kingdom’s imports from Japan in January 2021 amounted to $37 million, a 14.4 percent increase year-on-year.

The total bilateral trade of $176 million for the month was down 3.7 percent compared with January 2020.
